Feather and Branch

This is a second in a series which is still under way. Its a multi-medium chalk drawing/paint on 16x20 canvas. Again this painting is so highly glossed that it is very difficult for me to photograph...But I really like the colors and the texture of the picture just makes you want to run your hands over it...and I do.

Swimming in my thoughts

This as on 16x20 canvas. It is a multi-medium that consists of a background paint. Then a chalk drawing is cut up and randomly placed, glazed then repainted. I like the texture and colors that reflect, depending where the light comes from. I've tried several times to post this. Due to the heavy glazing it does not photograph well at all, if any one has suggestion PLEASE let me know.

This is an acrylic on 24x36 canvas. I did this about a year and a half ago. It is very dear and intimate to my being. The colors are much more vivid in "REAL" life, but I guess this is between me and my camera.

a new dawn

This is my latest painting, it's done in acrylics which I prefer better then oils due to the fact that they just dry faster. Although I've been ( playing ) with art for over 25 years I've never been consistant, allowing years to go by without picking up a brush, pen or anything of the like. So this is me world, I am making that comittment to play every day. This painting is the new dawn for this D.A.Y.
